Ostan Loch Altan, Facilities

 There are a myriad of activies to consider when booking into the Ostan Loch Altan in the north west of Donegal. Mounts Errigal and Muckish at either flank of the Derryveagh Mountain range are ideal for walkers and climbers. A favourite walk is from the foot of Errigal to the shores of Loch Altan.There are fantastic golf links as well as world-class angling spots to help truly take your mind off the 9 to 5. Tory Island is a bird watchers nirvana, with its towering cliffs rich in so many different forms of bird life. A ferry operates for the pier about 5km away from the hotel.

After a day, busy with sightseeing and outdoor pursuits, relax and enjoy a pint at Teach Phaidin where caint, ceol and craic are never in short supply. There is some excellent food to be had at An Chaiseal Restaurant where only the freshest of local produce is used in creating a menu of flavour and imagination.
